Sun City constitutes four magnificent hotels in one resort in the Bush Veldt of the northern part of Southern Africa
The following picture is of one of the four hotels being “The Palace” – based on the legend of some lost tribal African City in years gone by ...
![[image] [image]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/Pierrex/zz01.jpg ) The following four pictures were taken at the entrance of the Valley of the Waves ... words cannot describe this spectacular scene...
The ads states “The Valley of Waves”, which legend declares is the original "Valley of the Sun", is the master of recreational water-parks in the world, a pleasure kingdom for thrill seekers.

![[image] [image]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/Pierrex/zz08.jpg ) Looking like a sea side resort but a thousand kilometres from the nearest ocean!
![[image] [image]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/Pierrex/zz06.jpg ) The next pictures shows the Temple of Courage, swimmers drop a heart-stopping 17 meters (57 feet) down a 70-meter (233 feet) chute, hurtle under a bridge and splash into a small pool at the foot of the slide
![[image] [image]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/Pierrex/zz07.jpg )
![[image] [image]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/Pierrex/zz02.jpg ) Yours truly coming down – look at my feeble hand waves – my bum and back are still blue!
Ending in a rush of water
Part 3 coming soon!

The last day we drove through the Pilansberg Game Reserve next to Sun City on our way to the airport in Johannesburg – the following are pictures we took -

Om our way back – everyone very tired!

When we got back to Cape Town, we found that someone left the light on in our car parked at the airport – I had to call the Automobile Association to come and help and we only arrived home at 10 o clock Thursday night – at least Nina was glad to see us all back!
Today was back to school for the boys.
O well, all good things come to an end!
