From the land of the Bluenose......after a quick visit to the surgeon Marie and I headed to a local beach to cool off as our heat streak continues. Expectations were not high but it wasn't long before my first ring appeared in the seive...a toe ring which I thought was silver but turned out to be a junker. After a few coins another ring with a huge "diamond" on it....a junker that turned out to be silver. Another lake was then visited and two gold rings were saved. First a 10k wedding band and the second a 10k with three hearts with rubies in the center. Leg started to cramp up so after a few more coins it was home ward bound. Loot for the day was close to $10, a few dinkies, nice crystal/claw pendant, the rings and things.

Yep, well done Les - my own gold finds of late are few and far between!
