What's the story on the grass strip between the road and sidewalk, is it fair game? Many people treat it was their own but I thought property lines were quite a bit further back.
Has anyone every hunted these?

The only thing I have to add on the topic, is that in some parts, that piece of land is called "The Devil's Patch". Why it's called that, I have no idea.

Has anyone every hunted these? From the land of the Bluenose....ordinance number #3 states that it is to be serviced by the adjoining house and is responsible for cutting the grass and taking off the garbage which in effect makes it off limits...Hydrostone area folks are picky!

Thanks for the input, guess I'll just have to keep wondering...
Funny, I was just in the Hydrostone the other night, excavating on a big grassy median/park. Had half of the neighborhood kids following me around like the Pied Piper, Agreement was, they dig em' and as long as they're not overly valuable, they could keep what they find and divvy it up amongst themselves. Parents can't get too mad at you for free babysitting.
