From the land of the Bluenose.....is nice to have over 200 guests and members a day visit out humble forum. We are a Nova Scotian community and in a community everyone contributes.
I see that that is not the case and indeed it is said. What is the problem...no finds worth posting....man we like to read about everyone's digs!
Lurkers looking to gain insight as to "where to go.' Not a noble cause as is asking folks wher to go....poor manners!
I personnally set up the forum so that the Bluenosers and others in Atlantic Canada (and those from other areas) have a place to get together, exchange praise for what is found, those going through a learning curve and to better nurture the hobby.
Iffen you don't want to participate in some way why bother coming here!
And that is that. Happy hunting all and I will take anyone out fur a dig youz!

Well I have been trying to contact people in my area to see if I can get some help learning, but no replays, so I guess I'll have to learn on my own. Going to melmerby beach tomorrow morning to see if I have any luck. Getting junk , so I think it's working ok, but got a lot to learn, got 2 pennies so far lol.

Hello Leslie and all,
Sorry I haven't been posting any of my finds lately, though I do have a good excuse. I haven't been detecting in a couple of weeks!
Been quite busy at work, and lodge activities to have any "me" time. I hope to fix that this week, time will tell.
Happy Hunting all.

Well boys, I'm a reluctant non metal detectorist. With my 3 young kids in tow, not much detecting is being done. But I do enjoy reading about peoples finds. I would love to get out but right now,but I'm trying to raise some future detectorists!!! So guys, all the best in your diggings!!

I think the lurkers fall into a number of categories. You have total newbies that have a shiny new MD but are having limited success finding anything of worth. And when you have pros finding Spanish silver coins, your 1942 penny looks pretty uninteresting, why post it? They figure if they can find a hot spot, their luck might change. It's for the sake of these guys I usually post where I find stuff. Theres enough to go around and I figure if one guy picks up that MD and goes out hunting, it's better that them getting frustrated and hawking it on Kijiji.

I stopped posting because of the lack of response. The only comments were from Leslie.
