Well, I returned my 1982 Garrett Deepseeker to my dad on the weekend, it's original owner, in anticipation of my new ATP arriving next week. It was a bittersweet moment, kind if pained me to see it go, but my arm was never happier. It was built like a tank, which is maybe why it was still humming away after over 30 years. I found my first coin with that machine, a toasted 1945 penny in Shannon park. Good times. Will probably hunt with the old girl again this summer once I get my Dad hooked.
