These are my girls showing off our finds from the weekend. I seem to recall that these were collected over a period of 2 - 3 days. The little park at the end of our road had obviously never been scanned before. We found Canadian silver coins as old as the 1870's and copper coins back into the late 1700's. All told we pulled out well over a thousand coins and several hundred interesting artifacts by the end of the summer. This was about 10 years ago. Both my girls have their own detectors now, and when we get together during the summer, we always go "out digging". In case you want to try your luck at this spot, it's the Lions Club Park in Cardinal, Ontario. Take pictures guys, later you'll be thankful you did.

I'm at a loss for words... Last time I saw that many coins in one place was Krystal Palace (AKA the Third Circle of Hell).
I will say, you'll probably only ever hit a spot like that once in a lifetime, and made better by doing it with those you love!
Cheers, DS
PS: I thinking he found all those with a Bounty Hunter, man, there's gottta be a lot left there...
