Between busy, and a long cold spring I got my first serious land dig in today. My good digging buddy and I hit an old favorite site and did mangage a couple of finds, for me it was a GEO III copper, and thicj tombac button with a "snowflake" on it. The next site I got another old copper, 2 crotal bells, one is the smallest, the other one of the biggest, and a well worn 1816 six pence, I'll take that. Seems it went straight from freezing to grass growing quickly. It will be a short spring season this year.
