This was aug 29, a little late, but just too hot and sticky in the computer room. ZDD and me hit a spot, and conditions were perfect We dug about 50 non-ferrous targets between us, including; some decorated buckle frags, a couple of cuff link buttons, both have some design on them. A nice complete knee buckle, my second from the site. A decent, but slightly bent one real 1726, quite off center. A 4th reg. of foot Rev war pewter button, c. 1775-1787. my second only ever pewter military button. Dave also got a one real, and 7 coppers. I'll spare you the dirty pic, which I do have.

Thanks Retriver, I like, and will take any spanish silver that comes along too. I don't so the shake, but admit I get pretty excited especially so with the BIG 8 from this July.
For me at least though the really old military buttons get under my coil less often.

Thanks for sharing Rick, gives me the incentive I need, need to cross a Spanish silver off my bucket list.

Pretty sweet find there Rick! I don't know how you do it but it's working for you. That is a very nice collection of finds, definitely setting the bar pretty high for us. Thanking for posting pix!
Cheers DS

Good to see you back in the drivers seat with the oldies. Now is becoming prime field time.
