Pulled a 1927 silver quarter out of the ground today, to my surprise it is a key date and worth more than the other silvers, depending on condition, it could be worth 500-600 dollars. I was wondering if someone would be able to offer a grade of the coin based on photos, Coinguy ;-) ) Cheers

Wow, nice silver quarter! I have never seen a quarter with that design, I have similar dimes.
Pretty nice condition too, not much wear considering it's almost a hundred years old!
Nice find! Paul

It's a VF coin...6 pearls in band of crown, making it "book" at about 175.oo, but does have some damage (slight as it is) which will take away some of that. But a great find. Anyone would like to dig up that. I know I would.

Thanks Rick, unfortunately the slight damage may have been caused by me, for some reason, the way the coin is positioned it throws my pinpointing off with the AT Pro. Plus it was hitting in the high 80's, was thinking trash, making me be less careful Lesson learned, albeit a costly one.

Hey Tony, I'm pretty well in agreement with Rick's assessment on the condition. It's a fantastic coin to add to your collection.

It is in good shape, would have be in better shape if I didn't scratch it digging it out, rookie mistake. Looking for a way to display some of my goodies, could I ask if a few of you post pictures of display options.
Cheers
