Excellent weather now. C.G. and I. Tried a couple new ideas today. I did expect an old coin (or two) today, but we just never got one, there's never any guarantees...right ? But it still wasn't a bad day in the finds department. I got 4 old buttons, thimble, toe tap, and a military pin, another I have like it has a date on it 1914. Oh yeah, and a finial of some sort. CG got (second pic.) his first ever crotal, and said at the time was pretty happy about that. Another neat find he got was a pin "Canadian Pacific (RR) Hotels", and an old key wind watch part. Oh yeah he was happy with the cow tag too.

Love the military hardware, did you figure out what regiment it belongs to? What is a toe tap?
Nice haul!

Sweet finds guys! I love the old stuff, the bell is pretty cool. Still on my bucket list. Glad to see you got out, beauty day.
Cheers. DS
