Well it was bound to happen, it kept falling off, I lost one of the ear covers for my AT Pro headset. Now one would think that a simple Google search would turn up a long list of vendors with said replacement covers, not a frigging chance.
Was wondering if any of you folks out in Bluenose land would have some inside information how how to purchase this rare item, maybe Slickpick Rick might have an idea.
I had to use it all day yesterday without the cover, I think one of my ears are flatter than the other ;-)
Cheers
Tony

My mom could knit you one. And it would match your socks!

Seriously though, if you can't locate a replacement, let me know and I'll ask Wendy to make you a set. I have an AT Pro that she can use as a pattern and We'll get you fixed up in no time. A whole new headset (if it came to that) is pretty expensive.
I'd call up Garrett first. See what they can do for you.

I hate to break it to you Tony, there's not much about this hobby that's sexy. .. my wife groans whenever I'm suited up with her in a public place. There's something for you to do Jordan, get your better half to design MDing attire that's woman approved. You know a bit of lace and a thong could go a long way to getting more men interested in the hobby. ..

You know the better solution to garrett headphones is to replace them with something that doesn't lose it's muffs. I bought a set of Sunray Pro Golds and they're worth every penny plus they have a life time warranty. Highly recommended. Otherwise, if you strike out with Garrett or they're going to charge you an arm and a leg. I'd donate one I found out in Kingston, I mean one off of the new pair still sitting in the box next to me. I doubt I'll ever use them, you're welcome to parts. I'd like to keep the cord as it's a pripority connector and expensive from garrett.
Cheers DS

Thanks Paul, will keep it in mind. Sent out an e-mail to a company in BC, hopefully they will have something. Will have to check out the Sunray Pro Golds, do they have the Garrett connector or did you have to buy an adapter?

E-mail to them instead it s in ontario, canadiantreasureseekers@cogeco.ca or you can call them at 519-862-5836 and ask for pat hartley or david james that is from them that i got my replacement handle. You should get the part for free, the only thing you will have to pay shipping. i got that number and adress by calling directly garrett.

Try Garrett customer service...used to be good for things like that. Worse case contact SPR and buy a new set.

Yep, did have to buy the adapter but it's money well spent as you can then run any headphones. DS
