This hunt from 5 hours on Saturday. First decent find was the STERLING watch part which is a first, found many pocket watches or parts there of, some near complete, but never a real silver, hoping for a gold...of course. The silver quarter not near as old as I would have expected from this place, but 1954, I'll take. The only copper is a speed the plough from PEI, one I've not dug before. Gave the bell and a decent copper from last year to the owner. Hope to get out again soon, before it is too late, and too dang hot. It's almost that today, not used to this. This is what it would look like if not a POS. I though the "hat badge" was just that but turns out to be a "QUEEN VICTORIA"S JUBILEE 1897" pin, and can find no google image like it. Strangely the big copper was a Elizabeth coronation medal, which I gave to my hunting bud.

Nice stuff Rick! You keep moving that bar up for the rest of us! We must be all hunting the same field this year our something, half the finds I have (but yet to post) have already been posted by someone else. I just found one of those horn thingies on Friday. See you at the field tomorrow!
Cheers DS
