Had a great day hunting in the Annapolis Valley with my brother, Don and and Patrick, someone who really knows the area. Buttons, buckles, musket balls, minie ball, spoon handles, ox horn knob, American buffalo nickel, Chinese coin from 1821-23, pot handle and a toasted extremely large coin, think it might be a stuiver, to toasted to tell. All in all a great day with family and friend, now I just need to pony up and find some sites :-( Cheers Tony

Nice haul and imagine there is lots more to do there. Try the base field at Cornwallis that way!

You failed to mention the exact street location of your dig Tony, I'm sure in the excitement of the moment and your progressing years, you just plain forgot...
Nice haul BTW! Some very cherry items you have there. If I wasn't up to my eyeballs in alligators I'd be in the car right now heading west.
Cheers, DS
PS - anything you need cleaned?

When he says " cleaned" He means "I can use Jordan's sandblaster". Never leave him alone with your coins and my sandblaster cabinet!

Hey DS, I didn't get the best find, my friend Patrick found a gold ring with a diamond inlay from about 1850's, I'll see if he wants that cleaned The exact location of my dig was $^^%56 %^&(8, right next to the &^*^&^& Cheers Tony

Gold ring eh? Nice. See if you weren't wasting your time digging up all those French coins, that could have been yours... Cheers, DS

Had a great ending last year with the French silver and a great start this year with the Mason gold fob. Good sites are hard to come by, need to do more research and door knocking.
