Gooday all. I just got my first metal detector {AT Pro} and I have been loven it., just can't get out enough.
I have been hunting the ocean bottom for relics for more then 32 years and have acquired many very nice artifacts plus gold and silver, I just can't seem to get out diving that much and with the weather this year it's been desperate. So what's a man going to do, I bought a MD and headed out looking for land treasures. So far only found money, no silver or gold yet but that will come. I look forward to reading your posts and will put some of my own up shortly. I live in the Valley {Berwick} and would love to get out sometime with you more seasoned pros to help me learn more about this dirt diving sport.
Is there a MD club of sorts in the Valley and how does one hook-up with our mates across the pond? those cats are killing it with their Roman goodies.

We have to chisel away concretion and over burden. We can go through many tanks of air and not move from the spot we are digging in before anything might turn up, but when you get a good spot look out. In the pic I recovered all that in one day. 9 lockets numerous broaches and pins as well as ear rings. The clumps in the back have items still inside, all these will require cleaning and preserving. One of my buddies found a brass tube and inside were over 20 gold coins. ZDD
