Lots of factors in diving, people imagine nice clear water with lots of visibility. Its really spooky when you dive in murky water & can only see one arm's lenght from your face!!! Currents can also make it interesting, so Sir Pierre we salute your attempt. Thanks for sharing!!!

Good to know you found some treasures! The gold can be spent, but the memories are the ones' that last. Great post as usual.

Your AT Pro is probably doing the same thing our machine are doing. Rejecting the modern coins with no silver content, as junk!! Which they are really!! I doesn't help your cause, unless you can guess at what sound they come in. Maybey you can program the AT Pro to accept those signals? ? All in the learning curve, I guess. Happy digging!!

Good to know you found an answer to your problem. Your new AT Pro will make your other machines green with envy. Maybe you can start a museum with your Freedom 3's, you certainly have lots of them. Hope the machine is kind to you.
thanks for sharing.

Good hunt, for sure, Mr Navey Davey with his Technetics, must be happy!! As we previously mentioned before, I'm a bit partial to Minelab, but there are disadvantages to the machines. Weight & ergonamics are not the greatest. The way the machines work is their plus. I cannot mention about their new machines, as I've never had a chance to see or use one?? Knowing that you don't use a screen, a mid-road machine with good capabilities would be good for you. I'd contact Rich from New York, as he's got a few machines & he's a member of a detecting club. He should be able to give you some insight.
good luck on your diggings guys

Hello all, my take for the day was two military buttons, one artillery, one general service button, a 1864 large cent, an Indian head cent, date ?. So everyone got something worthwhile. Will try to send you some pics, sometime. Thanks for the great hospitality, Chinese food was great, great to finally meet the boys in person. Thanks again.

The locals must find their share of rings during the year. I imagine it must of been an awful chore to detect in such comfortable conditions!! Good finds, that green rings looks like something an alien would kick out of his flying saucer.
