Thought there would be some good finds on the beach after Tropical Storm Ida hit but there were more people with detectors than there were goodies to be found. Looked like the storm washed everything out to sea even the shells. Only finds in the wet sand were 2 quarters, one dime, 2 tent pegs, a bobbie pin and some bottle caps.

From the land of the Bluenose.....well at least you gave it a try. maybe next storm all the junk will be washed out to sea and only the good stuff remaining!

Kathy hi, If you ran into a bunch of people with detectors, I would have to bet you were not in Nova scotia. If you don't mind, approximately, where are you ?

I put the link to this forum on a few metal detecting groups around the internet/facebook. She might be one of the people who found it. Which would be kinda neat.
