Yes. Rock hunting is very popular. Would you believe that my wife has rocks in the garden that came from Nova Scotia! She picks them up wherever she goes.
I have a blog post coming up about a very special rock ... pebble, actually, found by a detectorist on the South Coast.

Rocks can be cool Les, take a look at this one.
Oh sit, cant add a pic to replies. I collected rocks, arrowheads, dug for bottles, and panned for gold before I got into MDing, and have found some good stuff. If the conditions ever get right again I will hunt for arrowheads again.

Rick, if you don't mind me asking, how exactly do you hunt for arrowheads? Someone, possibly Leslie, was telling me they dug some up in Oakfield Park while MDing, but otherwise it seems like an impossible task
