Early Christmas Competition This competition is run in conjunction with the International Metal Detecting Group Forum Guess the date of this high valued Canadian large cent and it’s yours. The coin is uncirculated and should easily command US$100 upwards at auction. Pierre (See following picture)

Canadian Coin Competition result – date of George V One Cent The large Penny-sized Cent pieces were only struck for 10 short years from 1911 to 1920 After that the so called “small cents” of George V were issued (from 1920 to 1936) So the chances were 10% that someone would guess the correct date but that was not to be. Here is the correct date...
