Nice silver, I would call that a successful hunt. My pointer fried today, just found a few Snyder bullet casings, my day was not so successful :-(

I'd say you both did well.
What kind of pointer is it Tony? P. and I were kinda looking for one to dissect. Is it still under warranty?

It's a Garrett Pro Pointer, think I really got it wet last week in NB. It went through different phases, continuous chirp, no chirp, now it will only detect large metal objects, forget anything coin size. Got it drying in a bag of rice, if that don't work, may have to buy a new one from Rick. Fingers crossed.

I had my pro pointer in a bag of rice since Friday, took it out today, put in a battery and it seems to be working like new. Fingers crossed that was the problem. Although it is still under warranty, I can't find the receipt. Hope your works out for you as well. Cheers Tony
