I'm putting together a small tool box to leave in the car while out detecting and am thinking along the lines of extra batteries, small hand tools, electrical tape, etc. Wondering what tools and accessories everyone considers a "must have" when out hunting... kind of like an emergency kit.

Extra batteries for sure, and I learned a long time ago not to leave home without an extra digger. As I often travel by bicycle, that about it most times, but when I go in a car with someone else I got so I like to have an extra detector, for just-in-case. It sure would be a drag if you traveled a long distance, and something happened to your beeper.
Your electrical tape is a good idea. Maybe as it is a "tool" baox a screw driver, and a small vice grip shoulld be in it to.

Electrical tape, batteries and a leatherman tool and that can be carried with you while on the dig!
