As it seems good old sites for relics are drying up around here I want to get into detecting for gold around here, which was my original "purpose" for getting my first detector, which was a gold bug 2.
However I wouldn't be opposed to just doing some panning, slucing, highbanking etc. either. It has been about 8 years, and I kind of miss it.
Oh yeah, nice bunch of gold there. Lucky you to get to go down under.

Another look at my old gold photo's this is combined gold from the sluice (NSW Aust) and detector (Victoria Aust) the one in the square case is below laying on the coil
