Forgives Me Fadder for I have sinned ... It's been 2 years since I last swungs da Wand.
When I first bought my AT Pro off a fellow member (Seatec) I had high hopes of being emersed in the metal detecting culture. My first forays were , like most others I guess, in the back yard . Low and behold ... I found a 1919 Newfoundland Penny and a 1852 Thistle Penny . I thought I was hooked ... it was pretty exciting. Being somewhat of a history buff, or at least one with an interest in the ole ways and artifacts, I thought my surrounding areas of Lunenburg would be the ideal place to search.
Truth is I never really followed up on my intentions. Oh sure I've scanned Google maps many a times, flooded over the AF Church map and have even taken a few swings around Oxners Beach, across from Fort Point in the hopes of finding even a musket ball with no success.
It seems that once the off season hits (winter) I get all hot and horny to get out. I'm watching way to many Metal Detecting Utube videos , which only wets my appetite more. I'm not much for parks and playgrounds, more of an old cellar hole, some ole spot in the woods, kinda guy.
Saints preserve me , but I gots to get swingin' and diggin ' this year . Question is ... How many "Hail Garrets" I gots to do to get right in the head ?

The finds are one thing, as you as you have a good time doing it, it’s worth a lots.
