This post is fact and I have not taken the usual creative embellishment.
Went to visit a few friends in the valley area and to get a little swinging in. After a nice visit with Saundra and Ed I headed to the field . Great day where I swung away for a long period which was about my limit at 30 minutes scoffing a toasty button and a newer copper.
Heading home I took the on ramp for the highway just past the Tim's in Windsor. Was behind a flatbed 18 wheeler with a dark SUV behind me driven by a young lady. As I approached the highway I put on my left indicator meaning to pull Nogo past the 18 wheeler in the left lane of the highway. Got an immediate horn blast as the driver behind me was going to go the same way. As soon as I passed the truck she pulls up beside me gives me the finger and throws a cup of ice cap coffee at me. Amazingly the coffee and its contents go through my open window dousing my face in an ice cap and ice. Losing momentary control of Nogo I got back in my lane from the edge of the highway. Was looking to get the plate of the SUV but the girl (long brown hair probably in her 30's) had floored her vehicle racing in the left lane. Did not get the plate number. Was not going to speed up endangering myself further or risk a speeding ticket.
Once back home I called the RCMP who directed me to the detachment in Windsor (I"m in Lower Sackville) who took my information. The constable seemed sympathetic and I gave him some verbal information as I had the coffee cup in my back seat .
A day out digging often brings out some interesting events!
From my days on the job I suggested to the officer to go to the McDonald's and get a view of the drive through cctv.
If I recall from the old days that if one had a situation whereas a plate number is obtained one can get the registered owner to produce who was driving at the time of the offence or they would be charged with the offense.
Shall see what becomes of this. Feel lucky to have not crashed!
Nogo now smells like a coffee with these photos not doing justice to the mess.
