From the land of the Bluenose.....thought I'd share with you some of the bouys and ladies that I have had the pleasure to dig with in the past and present. Mind you all diggers have to have a handle and I have named a few me son.
The Bardman and his White's who coined the famous phrase "Drunken sailor grid." Dave Baird is now swinging in that big field up above but not forgotten.
Johnny Screwball from Uniacke who I play ball against has one of the nicest curve balls of any slow pitch pitcher. Doesn't get out much as he hunts, fishes and is a part time firefighter!
Frecnh Dave, Steve and Stevan in the Spanish silver field. First time I met French Dave at Shubie I threw up at his feet. Stevan also pans for gold and is an exellant painter.
The bouys of Sydney when we hunted Scattery Island. Donnie White, Donny, Steve, Angus and French Dave with his bilingual wonder dog Max (in doggy dew heaven).
The East Coast Big Dig's Last dig in Hillsbourgh
,New Brunswick....a great time from what I remember!
"Billy Two Rubbers" relaxes after some hard digging. So laid back that you ahve to take a second look to see if he's alive!
"Dan the Man" of Lower Sackville can be seen beding over a field or behind the counter at the fish section of your local supermarket.
Daygen just outside Windsor, Ont is a keener for sure and can swing with the best of them.
"Johnny White Pail" the handy man's handy man who went white after leaving Garrett. Named that poor bouy when he was a newbie and carried his gear in a white pail and dumped it to sit on when digging. Man can do it all, carpentry, leather work, auto bodies, electrical etc and a ton more etc.
Lutzie is one of those fellows that have to be cattle prodded to get out a digging. Seen at Sea King Clubs on Thursday...his home away from home!
"Makinholes" of Windsor has retired from the hobby. Many fond memories of great hunts gone by!
"Marco Polo" from Nigadoo, New Brunswick I'm sad to say is one of those Minelab fellows who has explored his province from one end tothe next looking for spots to dig!
Mike and Joey G with others from Michigan who I had the pleasure of hunting with at the Christian Metal detecting Forum a few years back and will again venture their way! Fun lot.
Monica from Milford who is a walking fashion statement in her pink shirts and purple crocs! Lord love a duck.
"Navy Davy" the man with the plan who swings a Garrett anda rare swinger (for these parts) a Tesero. Able to down a large double double in two swigs. Great hunting Bud who unfortunately doesn't like Otto!
"Roysie Agogo" now in Springhill NS and a swinger of the holy Ace 250. Good scrabble player and an even better yarn spinner! Can't keep this bouy down as he goes and goes!
Scotmiester singer of the big Whtes MXT and in exile partying somewhere..........my shovel is still in your trunk!
"Slickpick Rick" of Sweet Dreams Detector" in Kentville has a deal for you! Another Energizer bunny that just goes, goes and goes!
"Tony the Tiger" is seldom seen these days save for his place near Crystal Cresent Beach where he feel into a hole......from Newfoundland! Owner and swinger of one of the few remaining ultimate machines...a Garrett Freedom 3 Plus. House broken now will take a crowbar to spring him for a dig!
