From the land of the Bluenose.....received a most welcomed parcel today from the Uk. Not only did it have a nice stamp on the outside that will grace my collection but enclosed were two copies of the "Searchers" treasure hunting magazine.
My original article had been "culled" and the "Colonial English" edited so that those bouys over the pond cud understand youz! Tickled pink here.
On a very sad note Dad had to put down Tess who was 17. Recall taking her digging on occasions and having her lie in the back seat of Otto and snoring the whole way home. She will be missed
From the land of the Bluenose.....life is a beach at least till the tide comes in and the Bud is all gone!

Sorry to hear about Tess, like you said she will be missed!! !7 is a ripe old age for a dog!!! Will have another dog, sometime. Congrats on the British detecting mag story! I'm sure they had to whitewash some of your polite jabber. Us colonial can be a bit blunt with words!! Will be in touch sir, take care. PS you do cut a striking picture on the regional news, I think they took your best side!!!
