From the land of the Bluenose.....Rainbow Haven Beach is a real hot spot in this province but today she was a tad on the foggy side as metal detectorists from around the province gathered. Gathered on the beach for a seeded hunt and a chance to win a Minelab. They came in all sizes! Goodie bags were given to all along with free digging tools, hats, tshirts. Managed a nice black extra large Garrett one made by Omar the tent maker! Someone had a deep thought as he looked out over the dunes. "Why are all those detectors in the garbage....um? Good day had by all and hats off to Chris, Garrett and Minelab. Had promised Marie a trip to Blomidin and to Blomidin we did go! Hazy sort of day. Once home I got the itch to go a swishing and a swishing I did go. First two targets were fish hooks. Public service performed by this bouy for removing them.

Over in SA were are not used to large groups hunting together, usually 2 to 4 guys at most. That is way I like the UK trips so much - always a gang around to share your finds and tales around!
