I am pretty new to detecting, and really don't have a clue what I am doing. I do have a 100 year old homestead though. So if anyone is interested, I would invite one of you more experienced detectors to come out and help detect across my property, and maybe I will pick up a few pointers while we are at it.

Absolutely, I have had my "new" detector for way too long. I need to start enjoying the dang thing.
